I think it’s finally sunk in, Saturday night just gone was The Guild of Professional Photographers Annual Awards Evening (virtual). I had been shortlisted in Dec last year as Pet Category Image of the Year Finalist which I was already very honoured to have received.
In addition to this, I was also awarded by The Guild the below amazing accolades:
Photographer's Bar for my pet category dog images. (A Bar is a unique distinction awarded to those photographers who have had images assessed by the Guild via the Image of the Month competition over the course of a competition year, attaining a score the equivalent of a point for each entry made). A very exclusive member of a club indeed!
Top 10 International Pet Photographer of the Year 2020
Still utterly gobsmacked that we were able to achieve this despite such a difficult year mostly under lockdown. There are so many dogs and owners we have to thank for helping us make this happen.
We have plenty of plans to come this year when lockdown hopefully ends so fingerscross some form of normality will resume soon and we will be able to re-open to continue creating more award winning dog portraits.
